Chloe C. DeAngelis, Esq.
Chloe graduated from the University of Akron School of Law with her J.D. in Spring 2019. She began with the firm that summer as a law clerk and now as an associate attorney. Chloe began working in insurance defense as a law clerk for Cincinnati Insurance Company during law school. Chloe has gained experience in all phases of litigation and focuses her practice on general civil litigation and insurance defense.
While at Akron Law, Chloe worked extensively with the Health Education Advocacy and Law Legal Clinic where she maintained close communication with clients to counsel them regarding their legal needs and strategized civil litigation plans pertaining to housing, education, family, and other various civil matters. Chloe was also a participant on the Moot Court Honor Society advocacy team where she drafted appellate briefs, argued in oral arguments, and served as the Vice President.
During law school, Chloe was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, where she served on the executive board, and the Law Association for Women. Chloe also participated in the American Bar Association Client Counseling Competition.
While at Kent State University, Chloe was a member of Mortar Board Senior College Honors Society where she served on the Executive Board, Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honors Society, and Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity. During her collegiate membership with Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity, she served as Vice President of Public Relations and Publicity Chair.
