Amanda R. Koren, Esq.
Amanda graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Berkeley College in New York City. Before Going to law school Amanda worked at the New York City Law Department as a Paralegal in their Special Federal Litigation Division. Soon after, Amanda moved to Akron where she earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 2018 along with a certificate in litigation (Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution).
While in school, Amanda was a member of the nationally ranked Akron Law Mock Trial Team. Amanda competed in the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition, the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition, and the Annual Academy Mock Trial Competition. Amanda was selected by a Professor from the school of law to attend Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College. She spent one month out on Gerry Spence’s ranch with 50 attorneys and 3 other students honing in on important trial skills 8 hours each day and received a certificate for completing their program. Amanda is now a coach of the Akron Law Mock Trial Team and for the last two years she has been clerking at the City of Akron Prosecutor’s Office conducting traffic court trials.
