Walter Krohngold was born and raised in the east side of Cleveland, and has lived here for all but four years. He has specialized in the area of insurance defense litigation for 26 years. He has tried over 100 cases to verdict. Approximately 80% of his verdicts have been at or near the final offer. Walter has also argued cases in the Sixth, Eighth, Ninth, and Eleventh Appellate Districts. Walter takes an extremely aggressive approach to discovery, seeking all of a claimant’s medical and work-related records, both before and after an occurrence to better provide an accurate evaluation of each claim. He has lectured before various legal organizations and is currently a co-chair of the Personal Injury Defense Committee section of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. He has also written in a publication for that organization and co-chaired a seminar sponsored by the Committee in April, 2012.

Walter is married, with a son who recently graduated from the Ohio State University, and a stepdaughter attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His hobbies include racquetball, hiking and bowling. For the last eight years he has been on the Board of Trustees of the Orange Hill Estates Homeowners Association where he lives, and has been actively involved in local politics in Orange Village, Ohio.
